BMW X5: Premium Cabin Design

The second you enter the BMW X5, you'll be greeted by luxurious amenities like available Vernasca Leather upholstery. Extended Ambient Lighting then bathes these features in a soft glow to set the tone for your drive home. With lights strategically placed on your door handles and footwells, you'll also get an enhanced view of your cabin at night for greater usability.

During the day, open the standard panoramic moonroof to let in some fresh air. It spans both rows to provide your entire cabin with a clear view of the sky above. You'll also be cozy on chilly winter nights with the help of the standard 3-stage heated front seats. With three different levels of warmth to choose from, you're sure to stay relaxed year-round. The available heated front armrests and steering wheel are a nice touch, as well.

In addition, the available 2.5-zone or 4-zone automatic climate control systems will step up your interior experience by customizing the comfort of both you and your passengers. The Advanced Vehicle & Key Memory feature will then remember your interior climate setting so that you won't have to readjust it each time you get in.

Speaking of the Advanced Vehicle Key Memory, it stores other things in its memory, too. It'll be able to remember the following other preferences, so they're ready to go as soon as you get behind the wheel:

There are also 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats in the BMW X5 that allow you to configure this roomy cabin to meet your cargo needs. With the seats upright, you'll be able to fit five passengers comfortably and still have access to 56.5 cubic feet of cargo room. But, if you need more space for larger purchases, fold the rear seats down to gain a maximum of 72.3 cubic feet of cargo room.

If fitting more passengers is the goal, you can also opt for available convenient third-row seating that will allow two more people to tag along.

BMW X5: Advanced Technology for a More Engaging Ride

Entertainment tech is designed to make your everyday drive much more exciting with features like Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto™, both of which create simple access to your music library. Control your listening experience through a 12.3-inch iDrive 7.0 display. You can also operate this touchscreen through voice control for easy access to your navigation system and music without having to take your eyes off the road.

Although Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto™ are great options for listening to music, you'll also have access to HD Radio™ and SiriusXM^® for even more tune selections and stations.

No matter what you decide to listen to, it will sound clear and refined, thanks to a HiFi Sound System with 10 speakers. But, if you're looking to fully immerse yourself in your listening experience, select the available Harman Kardon^® Surround Sound Audio System. It places 16 speakers around your cabin for sound quality that's similar to a live performance.

There is also a Wi-Fi hotspot option for further connectedness, plus two USB ports and a USB-C port in the front center console. Device usability is truly enhanced for you and your passengers, and everyone will get their chance to connect whatever they need to.

BMW X5: Safety
